FIELDTRIPS AND EXCURSIONS: Two excursions to enjoy the region attractions are included in our Spanish Program. Students can choose them from the following list:

  • Isla Victoria -

  • Bariloche City Tour and Circuito Chico -

  • Villa La Angostura

There are several fieldtrips organized by the Spanish Program that are guided by the Spanish teacher throughout the 4 week course. These fieldtrips do not count towards the number of class hours and they do not interfere with regular classes. For instance, if the student takes Spanish classes from 8 AM to 1 PM, the fieldtrips are organized in the afternoon. This is true except for one fieldtrip where students must perform a research and write an academic essay during class hours.

Here is a list of usual fieldtrips, not all of them are offered every month; it mainly depends on each group's interests and availability.

  • Museo Patagónico (Patagonian Museum)

  • Architectural tour (walk the city hunting for historic architectural gems)

  • Attend a play at a theatre

  • Smoke house

  • Trout hatchery

  • Chocolate factory

  • Centro Atómico Bariloche (visit to a research lab)

  • Cerro León . (ancient volcanic caves)
